1. Thaw the package by placing it in the fridge overnight.
(Or defrost in microwave. Check every few minutes to prevent it from being cooked in the microwave)
2. Pre-heat a non-stick pan on high heat. (optional: add a little bit of oil to the pan.) Cook for 3-5 minutes or until cooked through. For best result, cook only a handful at a time. If you cook a large amount at once, it will produce much liquid and the meat will be boiled instead of grilled. Do not overcook for tender texture.

Chunjang is a Korean version of black bean sauce. Its main ingredients are soybean and flour. First, soybean is fermented with flour and salt. Then, caramel coloring is added before the aging process begins. Chunjang is mainly used to make Jjajangmyun, Korean noodles with black bean sauce. Sometimes it's used to season meat stir-fries. Although Koreans call it Chinese black bean sauce, it is different from the black bean sauce Chinese people use. If you'd like to make Korean Jjajangmyun, use Chunjang.
